Sporting Lagos has denounced an irate female fan after a viral video showed her threatening Brilla FM following the club's defeat against Plateau United.
The fan, from the famous Happy Corner, accused Brilla FM of betrayal, saying, "Brilla FM, this is for you. You ate our food, drank our drinks and yet you went to lie... If they choked you, you would have died."
Sporting Lagos, facing possible relegation, swiftly condemned the fan's outburst, emphasizing their commitment to media safety and distancing themselves from her violent remarks. The club issued an apology to Brilla FM, reinforcing that her views do not reflect the club's stance.
